The Hawai'i duo of Jamie Santer and Alana Embry helped the Rainbow Wahine to a perfect weekend in th Heineken Queen's Cup to claim Big West Pairs Team of the Week. The award is the first for each student-athlete.  

Named the Most Outstanding Pair of the Heineken Queen’s Cup, Santer and Embry were 6-0 from the No. 1 flight as 12^th-ranked UH beat won four matches in sweeping fashion.

Santer and Embry trounced their competition in the semifinal and finals with an average margin of victory of over seven points per set on the final day of the three-day competition at Queen’s Beach in Honolulu.  

The twosome started out Saturday with a 21-19, 21-11 victory over Kate Clermont and McKenna Thomas of Pepperdine, and in the gold medal match against Boise State, the pair defeated Marlayna Bullington and Sierra Land 21-16, 21-8.
