UC Santa Barbara’s Camille Kiss Clinches Fourth Weekly Award of Career with Top 25 Win

32918UC Santa Barbara junior Camille Kiss played in two nationally ranked matchups while picking up a Top 25 triumph to secure The Big West Women's Tennis Player of the Week award. This is the fourth weekly distinction of the Redlands, Calif. natives collegiate career (2021: Apr. 28 | 2022: Jan. 26, Mar. 30).  

• The former Big West Freshman of the year earned UC Santa Barbara's lone point versus No. 3 Stanford (L, 1-6) against No. 21 Alexandra Yepifanova, who did not lose a single point at the No. 1 spot a season ago (6-7 (3), 6-3, 10-6).    

• In the following match against No. 21 Cal, UC Santa Barbara's pairing of Kiss and Lucy Lu took down the Golden Bears duo of Jessica Alsola/Valentina Ivanov (CAL), 7-6(5). Currently, the Gauchos are 3-4 overall but boast an undefeated record of 1-0 record in Big West play.
