UC Riverside redshirt freshman Barrington Hargress averaged 19.5 points, 10.0 rebounds, 4.5 rebounds, 6.0 assists and 2.5 steals per game in two wins to earn The Big West Player of the Week award, presented by Hercules Tires. It is the first career weekly honor for Hargress.

The Inglewood, Calif. product shot 60.9 percent (14-for-24) from the floor, 40 percent (2-for-5) from behind the arc and 81.8 percent (9-for-11) from the charity stripe on the week.
- The Highlander guard compiled 21 points, eight rebounds, six assists, two steals and a block in an 81-73 road victory at Cal State Fullerton on Thursday. 15 of the redshirt freshman's 21 points came in the second half.

On Saturday, Hargress amassed 18 points, six assists and three steals in a 67-61 road win at UC Davis.

UC Riverside is on fire as of late, winning its last four games for a 12-15 overall record and 7-8 conference mark. Hargress is averaging 11.9 points, 3.3 rebounds and a team-best 4.3 assists per game.
