Hawai'i graduate forward Justin McKoy averaged 19.5 points, 10.0 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game in two wins against the top of the league to earn The Big West Player of the Week award. It is McKoy's first career weekly honor and the second time this season that a Rainbow Warrior has won it after Noel Coleman on Nov. 27.

The Cary, N.C. shot 66.6 percent (10-of-15) from the field, 66.6 percent (4-of-6) from behind the arc and 88.2 percent (15-of-17) from the charity stripe on the week.
- The Rainbow Warrior forward tied a career-high with 22 points, to go along with nine rebounds, four assists and three blocks in a 94-86 overtime win over UC San Diego on Thursday.

On Saturday, McKoy notched a 17-point, 11-rebound double-double in a 87-70 victory over UC Davis.

Hawai'i is currently on a roll, winning four of its last five games to improve to 14-11 overall and tied for sixth in The Big West with a 6-7 league record. McKoy is averaging 11.3 points and 6.0 rebounds per contest, the second-best on the team in both stats.
