  • 8038Cal Poly’s Annika Shah powered the Mustangs to a road victory en route to a first career Big West Player of the Week nod. 

  • Shah, a senior from Palo Alto, Calif., recorded her second straight game of at least 25 points in a 66-58 win at Southern Utah on Sunday. 

  • The point guard shot 53 percent from the field, including a 4-for-8 outing from distance, totalling 25 points to go along with three rebounds, an assist and a steal in the non-conference finale. 

  • Shah is in the top two in The Big West in various statistical categories, including points per game (15.2 - 2nd), field goal percentage (45.5 - 1st), three-point percentage (42.0 - 2nd) and three-pointers per game (3.08 - 1st). The average triples figure currently ranks 13th in NCAA Division I.
