Player of the Week Barrington Hargress, UC Riverside | Sophomore • Guard • Inglewood, Calif.

• UC Riverside’s Barrington Hargress scored 24 points in a win to claim The Big West Men's Basketball Player of the Week award. It is Hargress’ second career weekly honor, having received the award on Feb. 19 last season.

• The Highlander sophomore shot 10-for-20 from the field, including 4-for-10 from behind the arc, for 24 points to go with four rebounds, two assists and two steals in an 81-79 overtime home win over St. Thomas, Sunday afternoon.

• With the win, UC Riverside stays perfect inside the SRC Arena with a 6-0 home record this season.

• The Highlanders are currently 9-5 in their 2024-25 campaign. Hargress is averaging 19.6 points, and 4.1 assists per game, ranking second in the league both stats categories.
