CHAMPIONSHIP CENTRAL | INTERACTIVE BRACKET | BIG WEST CHAMPIONSHIP HISTORY
The field and seeds are set for the 2024 Big West Men’s Soccer Championship after Saturday’s five matches to conclude the regular-season slate.

Cal Poly (7-4-7, 4-1-4 Big West, 16 points) is the regular-season champion and No. 1 seed in The Big West Men’s Soccer Championship. With both the top seed and regular-season trophy on the line, the Mustangs defeated Cal State Bakersfield 1-0 in dramatic fashion, and had other results from around the league go their way. Cal Poly earns a bye and will host one leg of the semifinal round, currently scheduled on Saturday, Nov. 9 and the final on Friday, Nov. 15, if victorious.  
 
UC Santa Barbara (10-4-4, 4-2-3 Big West, 15 points) is the No. 2 seed. The Gauchos came into the final weekend with a berth in the championship secured. Even with a loss on the final matchday, UCSB earned the conference's second first-round bye. The Gauchos will host the other leg of the semifinal round on Saturday, Nov. 9.
 
The trio of UC Irvine (7-7-3, 4-3-2 Big West), UC Davis (8-5-5, 4-3-2 Big West) and Cal State Bakersfield (7-5-4, 4-3-2 Big West) all finished the regular season with 14 points. The Anteaters take the No. 3 seed and first-round hosting rights by owning wins over the Aggies and Roadrunners during the regular season. UC Davis will host a first-round game as the No. 4 seed thanks to a win against Cal State Bakersfield during the regular season. 

UC Irvine will welcome No. 6 seed and local rival Cal State Fullerton (7-5-7, 3-2-4 Big West, 13 points) on Wednesday, Nov. 6. The Titans finished with the same amount of points as UC Riverside (5-6-5, 3-2-4 Big West, 13 points) but got the final berth into the championship thanks to goal differential in league games. The winner will face UC Santa Barbara in the next round. 

The Aggies will get the Roadrunners at home once more for a first-round matchup, currently scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 6. The advancing team will play at Cal Poly in the semifinals. 
 
The finals of The Big West Championship will be hosted by the remaining top seed on Friday, Nov. 15, with David Gascon (play-by-play) and Christian Miles (color) on the call on ESPN+. The Big West champion earns an automatic entry into the 2024 NCAA Division I Men’s Soccer Championship. The 48-team field for the national tournament will be unveiled live on NCAA.com on Monday, Nov. 18, at 10 a.m. PT.
