Center Corbin Stanley contributed six goals in two contests to capture the final The Big West Men’s Water Polo of the Week accolade of the 2024 season. This is the first weekly distinction of Stanley’s career.  

The Yorba Linda, Calif. native notched a hat trick against No. 19 LMU in the Beach’s 18-7 victory. 

Stanley scored another hat trick in a non-conference clash versus No. 8 UC Irvine and aided LBSU to its second straight victory, 15-6. Stanely secured four ejections against the Anteaters as well. The freshman has found the back of the net 47 times to cap off the regular season, placing sixth best in The Big West.   

Long Beach State finished 2024 with 17-10 regular season and 2-3 record in conference action. The Beach claimed the No. 5 seed in the upcoming 2024 Big West Men’s Water Polo Championship and will play No. 4 UC Santa Barbara on Friday, Nov. 22 at noon on the campus of UC Davis.
