  • TY Johnson of UC Davis averaged 32.5 points over two games to claim The Big West Men's Basketball Player of the Week award. It is Johnson's second career weekly honor, having won it once last season. 
  • The senior logged 35 points and three rebounds in the Aggies' season opener, Tuesday at Washington.  
  • Two days later on Thursday, Johnson scored 30 points with seven rebounds, two assists and four steals in a 79-75 win at Idaho. The guard from Chicago, Ill. went a perfect 8-for-8 from the charity stripe in the game.
  • UC Davis is 1-1 to start the year with Johnson averaging 32.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 2.5 steals per game.
