The field and seeds for the 2024 Big West Women's Soccer Championship were finalized following Thursday night's five matches to conclude the regular-season schedule.

Our postseason picture includes six teams with the top two seeds claiming first-round byes.

The two sides are No. 1 seed and regular-season champion Hawai'i, (12-7-1, 8-1-1 BW, 25 points), and second-seeded UC Davis (14-4-2, 6-2-2 BW, 20 points). The Rainbow Wahine earned the right to serve as hosts for the semifinals on Thursday, Nov. 7, and the championship match on Sunday, Nov. 10.

UH was able to secure the 2024 regular season title with a win over UC Santa Barbara last Sunday to lock things up and make the road to the final run through Waipi'o Soccer Stadium.

The Aggies captured a berth to the Big West Championship last Sunday with their win versus Cal Poly but officially clinched the No. 2 seed following the season finale victory over CSUN today.

UC Santa Barbara (6-5-8, 4-2-4 BW. 16 points) enters the postseason as the No. 3 seed having finished its regular season on Sunday with 16 points. Three-time defending champion UC Irvine (6-6-6, 4-2-4 BW, 16 points) secured the fourth seed in the upcoming championship with its 1-0 result over UCR on decision day. Both the Gauchos and Anteaters will host the No. 5 and six seeds on Sunday, Nov. 3, respectively.

Cal State Bakersfield (6-10-3, 4-3-2 BW) qualifies for The Big West Women's Soccer Championship for the first time in program history as the No. 5 squad. The sixth and final seed belongs to Cal State Fullerton (6-9-3, 4-3-2 BW), who hosted last year's championship in 2023.

With the seeding set, Sunday's first-round action sees third-seeded UCSB at home against sixth-seeded CSUF at noon and No. 5 seed CSUB at No. 4 seed UCI at 6 p.m.

In the regular season, Cal State Bakersfield blanked the 'Eaters 1-0 while CSUF and CSUB battled to a scoreless draw.

The two advancing teams will join the likes of Hawai'i and UC Davis next week.

Start times for the semifinals across the Pacific Ocean take place Thursday, Nov. 7 at 4 p.m. HT/6 p.m. PT and 7 p.m. HT/9 p.m. PT. The final is slated for kickoff on Nov. 10 at 11 a.m. local time (1 p.m. PT).

Tickets for the No. 3/No. 6 matchup at Harder Stadium are $15 for adults and $12 for youth/seniors while host sites UCI and Hawai'i will have their tickets listed at $12 for adults and $8 for youth/seniors.

The Big West champion earns automatic entry into the 2024 NCAA Division I Women's Soccer Championship. The 64-team field for that event will be unveiled live on NCAA.com on Monday, Nov. 11, with a 1 p.m. PT/11 a.m. HT start time.
