Kailey Supa and Kennedy Justin Capture Weekly Accolades

Offensive Player of the Week 
Kailey Supa, Long Beach State | Redshirt freshman • Forward • Woodland Hills, Calif. 
  • 32247Forward Kailey Supa tallied two of Long Beach State’s three goals on the week to take home The Big West Offensive Player of the Week accolade. This is the first weekly distinction of freshman’s collegiate career. 

  • The Beach went 1-1 on the week with a loss to UCD and a win versus CSUB. Supa scored the tying goal against UC Davis in the 29th minute from 25 yards to knot the match, 2-2.    

  • Following the setback, LBSU secured a clutch win over Cal State Bakersfield courtesy of an 86th minute header. The score accounted as the game-winner, propelling the Beach past the Roadrunners, 1-0.

Defensive Player of the Week 
Kennedy Justin, Hawai'i | Redshirt freshman • Goalkeeper • Long Beach, Calif. 
  • 25388Goalkeeper Kennedy Justin recorded two shutouts and 10 saves to claim The Big West Defensive Player of the Week honor. Kennedy has claimed back-to-to back Player of the Week awards.   

  • The Long Beach Calif. native is the first goalkeeper in program history to secure five striaght shuouts following the results versus UC San Diego and UC Irvine. Justin's is now tied with the fourth most cleansheets in program history. 

  • In the last 464 consecutive minutes, the UH goalkeeper has not let up a single score, dating back to Sept. 22. 

  • Hawai'i sits at an unbeated 5-0-1 in conference play. Justin has only allowed a lone goal in those six Big West matches this season.
