- Goalkeeper Carlos Gonzalez recorded two clean sheets take home The Big West Defensive Player of the Week award. Gonzalez now has three career weekly honors from the conference, having won it once each in 2021 and 2022.
- The senior recorded a save in a 1-0 shutout of UC Irvine, Wednesday night
- The San Ana, Calif. native recorded five saves in a 0-0 draw at Cal Poly on Sunday. It was Gonzalez's 18th career clean sheet, a program recrod.
- Gonzalez now has four shutouts this seasonand currently holds a 247-minute shutout strea. The Highlander goalie ranks third in Big West play with a .750 goals against average and second with an .824 save percentage. UC Riverside is 3-5-3 overall and 1-1-2 in conference play.
