Peppi Ramstedt, Long Beach State  Women's Tennis Player of the Week  Junior • Helsinki, Finland

• Long Beach State junior Peppi Ramstedt earned three doubles wins and a pair of singles victories to earn The Big West Women’s Tennis Player of the Week honors. This is the first weekly distinction of Ramstedt’s collegiate career. 

• The doubles pairing of Ramstedt and Ronda Cook picked up a convincing 6-2 win against Nevada’s Amahee Charrier and Anastasia Luneva. The Long Beach State duo collected 6-2 victories versus Pacific’s Klara Kosan and Tomi Main and CSUN’s Sasha Turchak and Vitoria Zhytelna.

• In singles play, the Helsinki, Finland native picked up a pair of 6-1 wins versus Nevada’s Loue Ann Guerbert and 7-5, 6-0 triumphs when facing Pacific’s Alexis Sam to wrap up the Beach Tennis Winter Invite.
