• Hawai'i junior Ana Vilcek claims the first Women's Tennis Player of the Week award in 2024. This is the second weekly distinction of Velcek's collegiate career (Feb. 22, 2023)
• The Pancevo, Serbia native went 2-2 in singles featuring a straight-set victory against NC State in an upset against 19th-ranked Sophie Abrams, 6-2, 6-2. Vilcek opened the week with a sweep versus BYU's Yujia Huang, 6-4, 7-5. The sophomore blanked No. 12 Hannah Viller Moeller of Cal in the first set before falling in three, 0-6, 6-0, 6-2. Hawai'i hosted No. 9 NC State, No. 19 Cal, BYU and Florida State in the Weinman Foundation Invitational tournament.
• Vilcek won a lone doubles match, 7-6 (5), while two of the junior's five doubles matches were decided by two-tie breakers and a brake.
