Men's Athlete of the Week
Spencer Pickren, Cal Poly | Redshirt Sophomore • Folsom, Calif.

Cal Poly's Spencer Pickren won the individual title at the season-opening Big West Preview on Friday at the Blacklake Golf Resort.
The redshirt sophomore finished the 6K course with a time of 18:01.7 to take the win.
The Mustangs took first as a team with a total of 33 points.

Women's Athlete of the Week
Linda Perez, UC Riverside | Junior • Madera, Calif.

UC Riverside's Linda Perez claimed the individual crown at the Big West Preview at Blacklake Golf Resort to open the 2023 season.
The Madera, Calif. product completed the 5K course in 17:35.5.
The Highlanders scored 67 points as a team, good for second place at the meet.
