• Myka Sutherlin was outsanding in the circle once again, leading Cal State Fullerton to a road sweep of Cal Poly to pick up a fourth consecutive Big West Pitcher of the Week honor and sixth overall of the season. The conference record for most weekly honors in a season is eight.
• Sutherlin (17-7) started two games in the circle for the Titans and gave up just no earned runs in 14.0 innings of work with 11 strikeouts, allowing nine hits and three walks.
• The fifth-year senior right-hander first struck out five on Friday, going seven innings and giving up six hits and three walks for two runs, both unearned, as Cal State Fullerton came away with a 4-2 win.
• Sutherlin threw another complete game in Sunday's series finale, allowing no runs on three hits and no walks, with six strikeouts as the Titans prevailed 2-0.
• Cal State Fullerton is 30-6 overall and leading The Big West with a 17-4 conference record. Sutherlin has a 17-7 pitching record on the season, boasting a 1.33 ERA with 196 strikeouts in 163.0 innings of work.
• Sutherlin’s prior awards this season came on Feb. 13, Feb. 27, April 10, April 17 and April 24. The product of Gilbert, Ariz., is a nine-time career recipient with three selections in 2022.

• Alexa Landeros hit .700 in a 3-1 week for CSUN, including a sweep over CSU Bakersfield, to earn The Big West Field Player of the Week recognition. Landeros is a first-time weekly honoree.
• Landeros started the week with a 2-for-2 performance with an RBI in CSUN's 7-2 loss to No. 2 UCLA on Tuesday.
• The sophomore was 2-for-3 with two runs scored and two RBI in Friday's series-opening 8-0 win against CSU Bakersfield.
• In game two against the Roadrunners, Landeros had two of the three hits with an RBI as the Matadors earned a 3-1 win.
• In the series finale against the, Landeros was 1-for-2 with a run scored as CSUN prevailed 3-1.
• CSUN is 22-22 overall and in third place in The Big West with a 13-8 conference record. Landeros is hitting .262 on the season.

• Lauryn Carranco aided CSUN to a 3-1 week, including a series sweep of CSU Bakersfield, to earn The Big West Freshman of the Week award. It is Carranco's secon time being tabbed as the top freshman this season.
• The freshman made three appearances in the circle, going 2-1 in 14 innings of work for an 0.50 ERA with 18 strikeouts.
• Carranco retired the first 14 CSU Bakersfield batters in Friday's series opener as the Matadors prevailed 8-0 in six innings, with a season-high 11 strikeouts.
• The Clovis, Calif. struck out six and gave up four hits and picked up the win in Saturday's 3-1 victory in the series finale.
• CSUN is 22-22 overall and in third place in The Big West with a 13-8 conference record.
