• UC Santa Barbara's Amelia Honer went undefeated in singles and doubles to earn The Big West Women's Tennis Player of the Week award. It is the sixth time this season that the Newtown, Pa. native has won the weekly honor, the most in the history of the award. It is the eighth Player of the Week accolade of Honer's career.
• On Saturday against UC Irvine, the sophomore defeated Jenna Schlatter 6-0, 6-0 in No. 1 singles. The pair of Honer and Kira Reuter downed Emily Fowler and Carolyna Fowler 6-2 in No. 1 doubles. UC Santa Barbara defeated UC Irvine in the taem competition 5-2.
• On Sunday against Cal State Fullerton, the Newtown, Pa. product downed Natalie Duffy 7-5, 6-1 in top flight singles and, alongside Reuter, took care of Natalie Duffy and Camila Garcia 6-2 in No. 1 doubles. The Gauchos got the team win over the Anteaters by score of 4-2.
• Honer is currently 13-1 and ranked No. 60 in singles and, alongside teammate Kira Reuter, ranked No. 12 in doubles with an 11-2 record in the latest ITA Rankings. The Gauchos are riding a four-match winning streak and are 6-1 in conference play.
