• Cal Poly's Kim Bhunu went undefeated in singles and doubles to earn The Big West Women's Tennis Player of the Week award. It is the third time that Bhunu has won the weekly honor after claiming it twice in 2021.
• On Friday in a 4-2 win over the Pacific, Bhunu helped Cal Poly secure the doubles point by earning a 6-2 victory at the No. 2 spot with Kennedy Buntrock over Megan Carmichael and Tomi Main. At the No. 1 singles spot the Bhunu secured a 7-6 (7-3), 6-3 win over Klara Kosan.
• In a 4-3 win at UC Davis on Saturday, Bhunu and Buntrock grabbed a 6-4 victory at the No. 2 doubles spot over Lauren Ko and Olive Maunupau. At No. 1 singles, Bhunu captured a 6-3, 6-4 win over Yana Gurevich to clinch the dual for the Mustangs.
• Cal Poly is 10-7 overall and 4-2 in conference play. Bhunu is 9-6 in singles and 8-5 in doubles with Kennedy Buntrock.
