Chandler Cowell (Sr., Kula, Maui) & Sydney Miller (Fr., San Diego, Calif.), Hawai'i    Beach Volleyball Pairs Team of the Week

• The Hawai’i duo of Chandler Cowell and Sydney Miller capped a perfect weekend for the Beach Bows to capture Big West Beach Volleyball Pairs Team of the Week. It is the first weekly distinction for both players.  

• Playing in the No. 5 position in the lineup, Cowell and Miller helped Hawai’i will all four matches in the Big in the West tournament, finishing as the only unbeaten pair on the weekend.   

• The double round-robin schedule against Big West foes saw Hawai’i pick up a pair of 3-2 wins over No. 14 Long Beach State.  

• UH also turned back Cal Poly twice, with Cowell and Miller clinching the winning point in a narrow 3-2 victory.  

• The tandem sit at an unblemished 5-0 on the year.
