Miles Norris, UC Santa Barbara Men’s Basketball Player of the Week Senior • Forward • San Diego, Calif.

• UC Santa Barbara forward Miles Norris averaged 16.5 points and 7.5 rebounds in two wins to earn The Big West Player of the Week honor, presented by Hercules Tires. Norris is a first-time weekly honoree. .

• The senior shot a combined 50 percent (13-of-26) from the field and 83 percent (5-of-6) from the charity stripe in the two wins.

• Norris scored 15 points, on 60 percent (6-for-10) shooting, and grabbed five rebounds as the Gauchos defeated UC Davis 89-86 Thursday night. 

• On Saturday, Norris recorded a double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds to lift UC Santa Barbara over Hawai'i 81-61 in the season and home finale. It was the San Diego native's fourth double-double of the season. 

• UC Santa Barbara captured a share of the regular season title with the two victories over the week. Norris heads into The Big West Championship averaging 14.2 points and 6.4 rebounds per game
