- UC Davis junior Evanne Turner led the Aggies to a road victory at Hawai’i to claim a career-first Big West Women’s Basketball Player of the Week.
- The guard dropped a game-high 23 points while grabbing a season-high seven rebounds, handing out four assists, and snatching three steals in UC Davis’ lone game on the weekly docket.
- The native of Fontana, Calif., took over in the final period and contributed 11 of the Aggies’ 13 fourth-quarter points to carry the team to victory. Turner went 3-for-5 with two triples and contributed two steals and a rebound in the final frame alone in the 57-47 win.
- Turner currently leads the league in points per game (15.9), three-pointers per game (2.9) and three-point percentage (.374).
- Turner joins teammate Tova Sabel as a 2022-23 weekly award winner for UC Davis.
