CSUN forward De’Sean Allen-Eikens averaged 20.0 points and 5.0 rebounds in two wins to earn The Big West Player of the Week award.

The Williston, N.D. product shot a combined 73.7 percent (14-of-19) from the floor and 100 percent (3-of-3) from behind the arc in the two victories.

Allen-Eikens scored 17 points along with four rebounds and two steals in Tuesday’s 76-72 upset over perennial powerhouse UCLA. It was CSUN's second ever win against the Bruins, a feat that hadn’t been achieved since 2000.

The Matador graduate student followed up with 23 points, six rebounds and two assists in Friday’s 82-70 home win over Montana State.

CSUN enters conference play with a 9-3 record on the season, it’s best start in more than a decade. Allen-Eikens is currently averaging a league second-best 19.9 points per game, on 54.6 percent (77-of-141) shooting, and also pitches in 6.2 rebounds and 1.7 assists per contest.
