UC Irvine's Francesco Montanile recorded two assists in a 3-1 win against UC San Diego to claim the Offensive Player of the Week award. 

On Saturday, the junior set up the first two goals to put the Anteaters up by two. 

Montanile now has a team-leading four assists on the season.  

With the win, UC Irvine improved to 8-6-3 overall and 5-3-1 in conference play to finish the regular season. The Anteaters earned the No. 2 seed and will host the semifinal-round of The Big West Men's Soccer Championship on Saturday, Nov. 4 against the winner of UC Santa Barbara and UC Riverside. 

Sacramento State's Edgar Guerra helped the Hornets end their regular season on a high note with a 1-0 win over local rival UC Davis. 

Filling in for starter Mac Learned, Guerra recorded a career-high 10 saves, including seven stops in the first half, for the shutout and the victory. It was the third shutout of Guerra's career. 

It was Sacramento State's first win since Sept. 5.

Cal Poly freshman Joaquin Torres scored a goal in a 1-1 draw at Cal State Bakersfield to earn Freshman of the Week honors. 

It was the rookie's first career goal in a game that secured the Mustangs' tickets into The Big West Championship. 

Cal Poly concluded the regular season at 5-7-4 overall and 3-3-3 in conference play. The Mustangs earned the No. 5 seed in The Big West Championship and will travel to No. 4 seed UC Davis on Wednesday, Nov. 1 for the first round.
