Cal Poly freshman forward Annika Smith accumilated Offensive Player of the Week honors after tallying a hat trick during the Mustang's 3-1 defeat over UC Riverside. This is Smith's second Big West Weekly Award of the season and career (Sept. 18th, 2023). 

The Scottsdale, Ariz. native netted scores in the seventh, 30th and 47th minutes, respectively, on Sunday to secure Cal Poly's second Big West victory of the season. Cal Poly is 4-5-2 overall and 2-1-0 in The Big West this season. 

The freshman currently leads Cal Poly in goals (four) and points (10) this season while placing eighth in both previous categories in The Big West as well. 

CSUN sophomore goalkeeper Hayden Mauldin helped the Matadors earn their first win of the season by stopping four shots to win the Defensive Player of the Week accolade. This is Mauldin's second straight Big West Weekly Award of the year (Sept. 25th, 2023). 

The Bakersfield, Calif. product produced the third shutout of the year in the win versus Cal State Bakersfield. CSUN is 1-9-3 overall and earned its first conference win this weekend (1-1-2) after blanking the Roadrunners. 

The junior goaltender is tied for third-place in the league in shutouts (three) and saves pergame (5.31).
