• Hawai'i senior Andre Ilagan battled through nationally-ranked opponents to win The Big West Men's Tennis Player of the Week honor. It is the seventh time that Ilagan has taken the weekly award after winning it twice last year, once in 2021, twice in 2020 and once in 2019.
• At the Hawai'i invitational, Ilagan defeated Duke's 84th-ranked Pedro Rodenas in singles 6-1, 6-4. The Honolulu native fell to No. 16 Florida State's 16th-ranked Antoine Cornut-Charvuvinc in three sets, 3-6, 7-5, 1-0(6) and No. 20 Duke's fourth-ranked Garrett Johns 6-2, 7-5.
• In doubles, with partner Karl Collins, Ilagan posted a 2-1 record on the week. The duo defeated No. 16 Florida State's Cornut-Charuvinc and Barnaby Smith 6-4 and Cal's Lucas Magnaudet and Ryder Jackson 6-3. Ilagan and Collins fell to No. 20 Duke's 49th-ranked pair of Michaell Heller and Andrew Zhang 6-2.
• Ilagan is ranked 41st in singles in the latest ITA rankings.
