Men’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week

• UC Santa Barbara sophomore forward Salvador Aguilar tallied two goals in two games to be named The Big West Offensive Player of the Week. It is the second week in a row, third time this season, and fourth in career that the San Simeon, Calif. product has won the conference's weekly offensive honor.
• On Wednesday against Cal Poly, in front of over 10,000 spectators, Aguilar scored the game-winning goal on a header with 12 seconds left to give the Gauchos the 2-1 victory.
• Aguilar recorded a goal for the third consecutive game with a first-half score against No. 5 Stanford Saturday night. It is only the third goal that the Cardinal have conceded in eight games.

• CSUN sophomore goalkeeper Cooper Wenzel produced 11 saves in two games to win The Big West Defensive Player of the Week award. It is the second time this season that the Clovis, Calif. has been honored as the conference's weekly defensive award.
• In a tie against Saint Mary's Wednesday, Wenzel compiled seven saves and saw a total of 12 shots.
• Wenzel made four saves and did not allow a goal against UTRGV Saturday night.

Men’s Soccer Freshman of the Week

• UC Davis freshman forward Cason Goodman scored a goal to earn The Big West Freshman of the Week honor.
• Goodman had an efficient day on Tuesday, scoring a goal in only 27 minutes on the pitch, as the Aggies prevailed 2-1.
• The rookie logged 28 minutes in a tie against Santa Clara.
