Joy Umeh, UC Irvine  Women's Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week  Junior • Outside Hitter • Lakewood, Calif.

• UC Irvine’s Joy Umeh led the Anteaters to a pair of sweeps to pick up Big West Women’s Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week distinction. This marks Umeh’s third career Big West weekly award, all for offensive prowess (Oct. 18, 2021; Oct. 25, 2021). 

• The junior hit .462 at the pin in sweeps over Weber State and Gonzaga.  

• To open the weekend, Umeh hit a season-high .485 on a match-best 17 kills with just one error in 33 swings versus Weber State. Umeh also added a season-high four block assists against the Wildcats. 

• The Lakewood, Calif., native added nine kills in 19 attempts and just one error (.421) versus Gonzaga. The outside hitter has recorded kills in double-digits five times this season, and UC Irvine has now won six matches in a row without dropping a set.

Nadia Koanui, Cal State Fullerton  Women's Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week  Freshman • Libero/Defensive Specialist • Kapolei, Hawai'i

• Cal State Fullerton’s Nadia Koanui helped anchor the defense in a pair of home victories to pick up Big West Defensive Player of the Week.  

• Koanui scooped up a team-high 15 digs in the Titans’ 3-1 win over Gonzaga Friday night.  

• The freshman followed up her performance with a career-high 26 digs in another four-set victory against Weber State. Koanui also added two aces from the service line in the match. 

• This is the first weekly award for a Cal State Fullerton player since the 2019 season.

Emme Bullis, Cal Poly  Women's Volleyball Setter of the Week  Redshirt Freshman • Setter  • Whitewater, Wisc.

• Cal Poly setter Emme Bullis posted four double-doubles in the Husky Invite to earn her first career Big West Women’s Volleyball Setter of the Week award. 

• Bullis averaged 8.47 assists and 2.94 digs per set against stiff competition, including ranked foes No. 24 Pepperdine and No. 13 Washington. 

• Hailing from Whitewater, Wisc., Bullis posted a weekend-best 53 assists to go along with 12 digs, four blocks and two aces in a 3-2 loss against Pepperdine. 

• The setter added 36 assists and five more blocks in the 3-2 loss to tournament hosts Washington, as well as producing a pair of aces and two kills against the Huskies. 

• Bullis has now posted double-double efforts in six of seven career matches.

Campbell Jensen, UC Irvine  Women's Volleyball Freshman of the Week  Freshman • Libero • Burbank, Calif.

• UC Irvine’s Campbell Jensen dug her way to Big West Freshman of the Week after helping the Anteaters to a pair of sweeps at the Bren Events Center.  

• The Burbank, Calif., native averaged 6.33 digs per set, and tied a career high with 21 against Weber State. The 21 digs are the most by a Big West player in a three-set match.  

• The libero scooped up 17 more balls against Gonzaga, going perfect on reception with no errors in 25 attempts. UC Irvine has now posted six straight sweeps, five of which came on the home court. 

• Jensen is the league-leader with a 4.96 dig average, good for 31st in the NCAA.
