• Cal State Fullerton pitcher Raci Miranda went 3-0 with a 0.00 ERA in 11.1 innings and compiled 10 strikeouts to earn The Big West Softball Pitcher of the Week award. 
 
•  Miranda's week started with a save in a mid-week matchup against Loyola Marymount. She tossed the final two innings in a 4-2 win, allowing only one hit and one strikeout. 
 
• In the series opener against UC Santa Barbara, the freshman righty threw the final 1.2 innings as the Titans came from behind for the 5-3 triumph. 

• The Strawberry, Ariz. product threw 3.2 innings of scoreless work with four strikeouts in a 10-1 five-inning win in game two.

• Miranda got her third win of the weekend in the series finale, striking out three in 4.0 innings of work and giving up two runs, both unearned.

Nawai Kaupe, Hawai'i  Softball Field Player of the Week  Graduate Student • Shortstop • Wailuku, Hawai'i

• Hawai'i shortstop Nawai Kaupe slashed .750/.833/1.500 with two runs, eight RBI and three walks in a three-game sweep of CSU Bakersfield to claim The Big West Softball Field Player of the Week award. 
 
• Kaupe went 2-for-3 with three RBI as the Rainbow Wahine earned a 10-3 win in the series opener.
 
• The Wailuku, Hawai'i product hit 1-for-2 with one run and two RBI in a 10-1 five-inning triumph in game two. 

• Kaupe was perfect from the plate in the series finale, going 3-for-3 with two runs, three RBI and a home run in a 5-1 Hawai'i victory.
