UC Santa Barbara sophomore Phillip Jordan registered a combined 4-0 weekend in his matches against UTSA and Pacific to earn his first career Big West Player of the Week award.

Playing from No. 1 singles, Jordan defeated Joao Ceolin of UTSA 6-2, 6-7(5), 6-4 and claimed a 6-1 victory on doubles court 1 with partner Kai Brady. The Gauchos won their match with a 6-1 team score.

On Monday, Jordan again earned the win from the No. 1 line, beating Pacific’s Aleska Mardjonovic, 6-3, 6-3. Paired again with Brady, the duo defeated their Tigers’ foes 6-1 in doubles play as UC Santa Barbara recorded a 7-0 sweep in the match.
