Cal Poly's Stevenson Claims Player of the Week Honor After Leading Mustangs to Win Streak

30180• Cal Poly guard Brantly Stevenson averaged 14.5 points, 8.0 rebounds and 2.5 assists in two wins to earn The Big West Player of the Week honor, presented by Hercules Tires. With the two wins, the Mustangs are on their first three-game win streak in five seasons. Stevenson is a first-time Big West weekly honoree.

• The Rancho Cucamonga, Calif. product shot 66.7 percent (12-of-18) from the field and was perfect (4-for-4) from the charity stripe in the two victories. 

• Stevenson scored a career-high 23 points, on 10-of-13 shooting, with eight rebounds and two steals in a 62-58 victory Monday night at Pacific. 

• The junior recorded six points, eight rebounds and four assists to lead the Mustangs to a 64-53 home win against California Baptist Saturday night. 

• Stevenson is currently averaging 9.3 points and 4.7 rebounds through seven contests to start the season. Cal Poly is 4-3 on the year.
