• UC Riverside guard Flynn Cameron averaged 20.3 points, 7.3 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.7 steals per game in three wins at the Vegas 4 Tournament to earn The Big West Player of the Week honor, presented by Hercules Tires. The Australian is a first-time Big West weekly honoree.
• Cameron shot 51 percent (20-of-39) from the floor, 54 percent (14-of-26) from behind the arc and 100 percent (7-of-7) from the charity stripe in the three wins.
• The graduate student started the tournament with 17 points, seven rebounds, three assists, two steals and a block as the Highlanders came out with the 72-65 win over Weber State.
• Cameron put away 18 points, on 55 percent (6-of-11) shooting, with seven rebounds and four assists on day two as UC Riverside was victorious against Wright State, 70-65.
• The Gold Coast, Australia product recorded a career-high with 26 points, shooting 53 percent (8-of-15) from the floor and 58 percent (7-of-12) from behind the arc, to go along with eight rebounds, two assists and two steals as the Highlanders won the tournament with a 76-65 triumph over Abilene Christian.
• Cameron is currently averaging 13.4 points, 6.3 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game through seven contests to start the season. UC Riverside is 5-2 on the year.
