• UC Riverside sophomore forward Noah Lopez tallied one goal and one assist to earn The Big West Offensive Player of the Week honor. The Highland, Calif. product is a first-time Big West weekly honoree.
• With The Big West regular season title on the line, Lopez recorded his fifth goal and fifth assist on the year in Saturday's 4-1 win over UC Santa Barbara.
• With the win, UC Riverside earned its first-ever regular season title in a single-division format and No. 1 seed in The Big West Championship.
• Lopez now has 15 points on the season, fifth most overall in the conference.

• UC Riverside junior goalkeeper Carlos Gonzalez made nine saves to win The Big West Defensive Player of the Week award. It is Gonzalez's second career defensive weekly honor, having won one last season.
• In the regular season finale, Gonzalez made nine saves en route to UC Riverside's 4-1 win over UC Santa Barbara.
• The victory gave UC Riverside its first-ever Big West regular season crown in a single-division format and No. 1 seed in the championship.
• Out of the junior's nine saves, four were made in the final 10 minutes.

Men’s Soccer Freshman of the Week

• UC Irvine freshman Nolan DiCenzo scored a goal to be named The Big West Freshman of the Week. It is the third time this season that an Anteater has won the top freshman award as Agaton Pourshahidi has won two previously this season.
• DiCenzo played all 90 minutes and scored the eventual game-winning goal in Saturday's 1-0 win at UC San Diego. It was the rookie's first career goal, game-winner and point.
• The rookie played a full 90 minutes in Wednesday's 2-2 draw against UC Santa Barbara that secured a berth into the 2022 Big West Championship.
