The Aggies are winners of a season-high four in a row, the longest current streak in the league.

  • The junior midfielder out of Loomis first notched the opener just 68 seconds into a 2-1 decision over visiting Cal State Fullerton on Thursday evening. Porter then grabbed the 33rd-minute winner in a come-from-behind, 3-1 triumph against UC Riverside on Sunday afternoon.

  • Porter totaled five shots over the two matches, with four on goal. The first-year transfer from UC Santa Barbara started against the Titans and came off the bench against the Highlanders. She remained on the pitch for 126 minutes. Porter has three goals on the year, two of them winners.

  • UC Davis sits in a two-way tie with Cal State Fullerton in third in The Big West standings with one matchday remaining this Thursday night, Oct. 27. The Aggies are still in contention for a top-two seed and first-round bye in the Big West Championship, just one point back of Cal Poly and Long Beach State.

  • Porter is a first-time Big West weekly honoree for her career, and is UC Davis’ first offensive award recipient since current teammate Leslie Fregoso to begin the 2019 campaign on Aug. 26, 2019.

  • Smith recorded six saves in the 1-0 shutout against UC Irvine, the fourth clean sheet of the season for the senior.

  • The native of Santa Clarita, Calif., added two more stops and allowed one goal in the regular-season finale for the Gauchos. The 2-1 victory over Long Beach State clinched a postseason spot. With final seeding still to be determined in the expanded six-team field, the postseason conference championship bid for the Gauchos marks their fourth straight, and 10th all time.
