• UC Santa Barbara junior forward Finn Ballard McBride tallied three goals and one assist in two games to earn The Big West Offensive Player of the Week honor. It is Ballard McBride's season's third, career's fourth, weekly offensive honor from the conference.
• Ballard McBride was responsible for all three goals in UC Santa Barbara's 3-0 Wednesday win at UC Davis. The Sydney, Australia produce scored twice and recorded an assist.
• The junior scored the equalizer in the 86th minute in the Gauchos' 1-1 draw against Cal Poly on Saturday.
• Ballard McBride is now second in the nation with five game-winning goals and third in the nation with 11 goals.
• The Gauchos are currently at the top of the table in The Big West standings with a 4-0-3 conference record.

• Sacramento State junior defender Genaro Alfaro recorded a goal and assist, and helped his team to two shutouts to win The Big West Defensive Player of the Week award. Alfaro is a first-time Big West weekly honoree.
• Alfaro scored a goal in Wednesday's 4-0 win against Cal Poly.
• The junior played a full 90 minutes and assisted on the game-winning goal in a 1-0 victory at Cal State Fullerton Saturday night. Alfaro found teammate Bryan Gutierrez with 14 secconds left on the clock for the win.
• With his performance on the week, Alfaro now has three goals and three assists on the season. Sacramento State now had four shutouts on the season.

• Sacramento State freshman goalkeeper Edgar Guerra recorded two shutouts and his first career assist to be named The Big West Freshman of the Week. It is the second time this season that an Guerra has won the top weekly freshman honor.
• Guerra had the assist in the eventual game-winning goal in Wednesday's 4-0 win against Cal Poly. It was the first assist by a Hornet goalkeeper since 2010. It was also the first shutout of the season for Guerra.
• The rookie goalie recorded a season-high nine saves in Saturday's 1-0 win at Cal State Fullerton. Guerra's nine saves was the most since 2019.
• The Hornets have now won three consecutive matches and 6-1-1 on the season with Guerra in goal.
