• Cal State Fullerton guard Lily Wahinekapu averaged 22 points, 2.5 rebounds and 4.0 assists in two wins to earn her second career Big West Women’s Basketball Player of the Week award. She previously earned the same honor on Nov. 15, earlier this season.
• The freshman was everywhere on Thursday with a career-high 27 points, two rebounds, four assists, three steals and two blocks in a 69-65 win against UC Davis.
• On Saturday, Wahinekapu recorded 17 points, three rebounds and four assists as Cal State Fullerton defeated UC Riverside 57-55.
• The Honolulu native shot 52 percent (13-of-25) from the field, 44 percent (4-of-9) from behind the arc and 78 percent (14-of-18) from the charity stripe in the two wins.
