• Hawai’i graduate student Amy Atwell averaged 21 points and eight rebounds in two wins, both against CSU Bakersfield, to earn The Big West Women’s Basketball Player of the Week award for the third time this season. She previously won the same honor on Nov. 22 and Jan. 10, earlier this season.
• The forward recorded nine points, six rebounds, two assists and one steal as the Rainbow Wahine defeated the Roadrunners 69-52 in what counted as a non-conference matchup Thursday.
• Atwell scored a career-high 33 points and 10 rebounds, her third double-double of the season, as Hawai’i took down CSU Bakersfield 73-66 Saturday. In the game, Atwell reached the 1000-point milestone, the 23rd Rainbow Wahine in program history to do so.
