Freshman opposite hitter Hilir Henno led UC Irvine to a pair of wins en route to Offensive Player and Freshman of the Week, averaging 4.57 kills, 1.57 digs, 1.00 blocks and 0.71 aces per set on the week.

In a sweep of Harvard, he posted 14 kills on .346 hitting with three aces, six digs and a block.

Against No. 12 Stanford, the native of Pornichet, France, hit .457, finishing with 18 kills on 35 swings and just two errors. Henno also added two aces, five digs and six blocks in the 3-1 victory.

This is the second-straight week Henno has earned two weekly awards, as he started the season with Defensive and Freshman honors.

Sophomore middle blocker Connor Campbell played big at the net to help UC Irvine to a pair of victories and his first career Big West weekly award.

Campbell averaged 1.57 blocks and 1.00 kills in seven sets on the court for the Anteaters. The San Diego native rejected three attempts from the Harvard offense and added two kills and a dig in the sweep to open the week.

He added eight blocks and five kills in a 3-1 win against No. T-12 Stanford, setting a new career-best in blocking. Campbell is currently leading The Big West with 1.33 blocks per set.
