Men’s Cross Country Athlete of the Week

• Sam Ayala earns his second Big West Men's Cross Country Athlete of the Week award. He previously won the honor earlier this season on Sept. 7.
• Ayala led the way for Cal State Fullerton at the Dellinger Invitational with a time of 23:43.7 in the 8000-meter race to take 28th place overall, first among Big West competition. As a team, Cal State Fullerton finished 10th.

Women's Cross Country Athlete of the Week

• Sierra Atkins takes home her second Big West Cross Country Athlete of the Week honor. She was previously given the award earlier this year on Sept. 14.
• The sophomore was the top Big West runner, 13th overall, finishing the 6000-meter course in 20:26.7 at the Dellinger Invitational. UC Davis finished 8th as a team.
