• Bobbi Aguirre led UC San Diego to a conference sweep of CSUN to earn Big West Field Player of the Week accolades.

• Aguirre hit .750 (6-for-8) with a pair of three-hit games.

• She went 3-for-4 in a 6-3 victory over the Matadors on Friday, then clubbed a home run in Saturday's 12-4 series finale. The home run was the third this season and 12th of her career.

• Aguirre finished 3-for-4 with two runs scored and two RBI. The two multi-hit games brought her total to 10 on the year.

PITCHER OF THE WEEK
SOPHIE FROST, CAL STATE FULLERTON

• A pair of wins and a save granted Cal State Fullerton senior Sophie Frost her fourth Big West Pitcher of the Week award this season.
 
• Frost tossed a complete game, seven-hit shutout in game one of the series against Hawai‘i, walking one and striking out seven.
 
• She collected her second win in game two, going 5.0 innings and allowing seven hits and three runs in an 11-3 victory. She did not walk a batter and fanned six.

• Closing out the series sweep for Cal State Fullerton, Frost pitched 1.2 innings of scoreless relief and yielded just a walk and hit in the 5-4 triumph. She notched her second save of the season.

FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
KAI BARRETT, CAL POLY

• Cal Poly catcher Kai Barrett took home Big West Freshman of the Week honors, highlighted by her first career home run in the UC Davis series.
 
• Barrett produced three hits in Saturday's 12-9 win, including the home run. She finished 3-for-4 with three RBI.
 
• She posted her second multi-hit game against the Aggies with two doubles in Sunday's 5-1 victory.

• Barrett also walked twice in the finale to finish the week with a .714 (5-for-7) average and .800 on-base percentage.
