For the first time this season, Long Beach State's No.1 pair Mari Molina and Tyler Spriggs have been named Big West Beach Volleyball's Pair of the Week. Molina and Spriggs led No. 15 Long Beach State to a solid showing over the weekend against No. 16 Hawaii.

• Playing at the No.1 spot for Beach, Molina and Spriggs Lombard and Ozee went 3-0 over the weekend with personal victories over No. 16 Hawai’i.

• In the first match on April 3rd, Molina and Spriggs defeated Hawai'i's No. 1 pair Paige Napoleon and Jaime Santer in a decisive third set 15-10, after dropping the second set.

• With wins this past weekend, Molina and Spriggs are now on an active five-match winning streak. 

•Over their last 14 matches, Molina and Spriggs are a team-best 12-2 from the No. 1 spot.

•This is the first weekly honor of 2021 for the duo and the second for Long Beach State overall.
