UCSB Blanks UC Riverside To Advance To Big West Semifinals
 
The top-seeded UC Santa Barbara women's tennis team defeated eight-seed UC Riverside 4-0 on Thursday in the first round of the Big West Tournament. The win punches the Gauchos' (11-3, 9-0) ticket to the semifinals and extends their win streak to 10 matches, the longest since another 10-match run in 2016.

The fifth-seeded University of Hawai'i women's tennis team knocked off fourth-seeded UC Davis in the quarterfinal round of the Big West Tournament with a 4-1 victory Thursday at the Irvine Great Park. The Rainbow Wahine (7-7) move on to the semifinals for the fifth consecutive tournament where they will face top-seeded UC Santa Barbara Friday at 9:00 a.m. PT for the right to play in the championship match. UH has appeared in the title match every year since 2016.

The Titans women's tennis team defeated UC Irvine on Thursday during the quarterfinals of the Big West Championships, extending their win streak to six straight matches.

No. 3 Cal Poly Outlasts No. 6 CSUN In Quarterfinals
 
The third-seeded Cal Poly women's tennis team defeated sixth-seeded CSUN 4-2 Thursday in the quarterfinals of the Big West Tournament to advance to the semifinals for the first time since 2018.

• Cal Poly has won the doubles point in 11 of its 13 wins this season.

• The Mustangs have two undefeated doubles teams who succeeded again this afternoon in the tight, three and a half hour match. Dominique Stone and MacKenzie Worsnop improved to 9-0 together with a 6-1 win over Jacquie Tan and Jenna Dorian. The No. 1 pair of Emily Ackerman and Kim Bhunu moved to 8-0 following their 7-6 (4) triumph against Ekaterina Repina and Ana Isabel Fraile Toboso.

• In facing Cal State Fullerton in the semifinals, Cal Poly seeks to avenge an earlier loss to the Titans this season that ended its 10-0 start.
