• Cal State Fullerton's Kelsie Whitmore was a constant threat on the basepaths in a sweep against UC Santa Barbara last weekend, getting her Big West Field Player of the Week accolades.
• Whitmore batted .500 (4-for-8) and walked three times over the course of the weekend for a .636 on-base percentage.
• Her best game was the finale which saw her hit a pair of homers and drive in three in a 9-1 win.
• Whitmore scored multiple runs in all three games of the series, including the opener which saw her cross home plate on three occasions.

PITCHER OF THE WEEK
KENEDI BROWN, UC DAVIS

• UC Davis' Kenedi Brown put in a pair of extra-inning starts last week against UC San Diego, getting named Big West Pitcher of the Week for her efforts.
• Brown's first start saw her allow 10 hits, two runs (both earned), two walks and seven strikeouts in a 3-2 nine-inning win.
• Her second start saw her allow four runs early, but Brown got the win after keeping the Tritons hitless over the final five innings of another nine-inning battle. She struck out seven while allowing five hits and four runs (three earned) for the contest.

• Cal State Fullerton's Hannah Becerra put together impressive power numbers against UC Santa Barbara last weekend, earning Big West Freshman of the Week accolades.
• Becerra had two home runs in the series, knocking in four RBI and slugging 1.286.
• Her best game was the second of the four-game set, hitting a homer, knocking in three runs, scoring twice and walking once.
• Becerra has now won the award four times this season, one behind her teammate Dani Martinez for the most in a single season in Big West history.
