For the fourth time this season, Cal Poly's No. 1 pair Emily Sonny and Macy Gordon have been named Big West Beach Volleyball's Pair of the Week. The pair helped lead the Mustangs to the #1 seed for this week's Big West Beach Volleyball Championship in Long Beach.

• Playing at the No. 1 spot in the lineup, Gordon and Sonny went a perfect 2-0 to help Cal Poly win both of its matches.

• The wins improved their record this season to a team-leading 20-6 and pushed their win streak to five straight matches. 

• In their last six wins, they have won their matches in straight sets.

• Sonny and Gordon have been named Big West Pair of the Week for the fourth time this season, leading Cal Poly to the No. 1 seed in the Big West Beach Volleyball Championship
