• UC Santa Barbara senior Elizaveta Volodko led her team to the regular season conference championship to secure her second career Big West Women’s Tennis Athlete of the Week award.

• Volodko turned in a pair of impressive performances at No. 1 singles, losing only six games in the process.

• She earned a 6-2, 6-2 victory over CSUN’s Ana Isabel Fraile Toboso to help UCSB to a 4-1 win over the Matadors.

• Against rival Cal Poly on Saturday, she handed Dominique Stone a 6-2, 6-0 defeat to propel UCSB to the 4-0 sweep.

• The win over Cal Poly locked up an 8-0 Big West record, giving the Gauchos their third straight regular season title.

• Volodko and Lise Sentenac split their No. 1 doubles matches, defeating Cal Poly’s Emily Ackerman and Grace Olyphant, 6-1.
