For the first time this season, Hawai'i's No. 2 pair Amber Igiede and Brooke Van Sickle have been named Big West Beach Volleyball's Pair of the Week. The pair helped the Rainbow Wahine capture the Husky Invitational this weekend in Seattle.

• First Hawai’i  pair to win Big West Pair of the Weeks Honors this season after going 5-0 this weeked at the Husky Invitational

• Igiede and Van Sickle also went a perfect 2-0 in non-Husky Invitatonal games  this weekend, including a straight set victory over Washington’s No. 2 pair

• Igiede and Van Sickle won six of their seven matches in straight sets, with the seventh coming in a victory over No. 9 Arizona. 

•The Rainbow Wahine pair have now won eight straight matches together after starting their season going 4-6.
