Cal Poly's Dunkle Tabbed Women's Tennis Weekly Honoree

• Cal Poly sophomore Delanie Dunkle earned her second career Big West Women’s Tennis Athlete of the Week award thanks to a perfect record in singles and doubles against two conference opponents.

• Dunkle improved to 9-2 in singles with a pair of wins at the No. 2 position, toppling Cal State Fullerton’s Eira Tobrand by scores of 6-4, 6-4, and outlasting UC San Diego’s Ella Pachl. Dunkle won in three sets against Pachl, edging her 6-1, 2-6, 6-1.

• In doubles, Dunkle and partner Melissa LaMette won twice at No. 2 in a pair of tight matches. The duo overcame CSF’s Jadie Acidera and Camila Garcia, 7-5. They also defeated UCSD’s Rachel Wagner and Ana Bhadada, 6-4.

• Dunkle contributed to two of the three Mustang points in a 4-3 loss to the Titans, which snapped Cal Poly’s 10-match winning streak.
