FIELD PLAYER OF THE WEEK
ISABELLA LEON, UC DAVIS

• UC Davis senior Isabella Leon made her 2021 debut count, leading the Aggies to a 5-1 week and earning Big West Field Player of the Week honors.
• Leon batted .435 for the week, collecting 10 hits in her 23 at-bats. She also had four doubles, a home run and five RBI. Seven of her 10 hits came in the last three games
• The utility player had three multi-hit games, including a three-hit effort in the second game of a doubleheader against Pacific.
• She also collected four RBI with one swing, picking up a grand slam in the first game against the Tigers.

PITCHER OF THE WEEK
KENEDI BROWN, UC DAVIS

• Kenedi Brown was a workhorse in the circle for UC Davis last week, picking up Big West Pitcher of the Week accolades.
• Brown made four appearances last week, three of them coming in a starting role. She started the week with a complete game shutout win against rival Sacramento State, allowing just two hits and striking out 12.
• After a shutdown relief appearance, her second start was even more impressive as she pitched all 13 innings of a 2-1 win over Pacific. She allowed 10 hits but only one run, one walk and struck out 11.
• Her final start of the week was another complete game win, allowing eight hits four runs (all earned) and striking out six.
• For the week Brown was 3-0 with a 1.27 ERA, 30 strikeouts, six walks and 20 hits allowed in 27.2 innings.

FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
ANNA DETHLEFSON, UC DAVIS

• Anna Dethlefson had a big offensive week for the Aggies, nabbing this week's Big West Freshman of the Week award.
• After not recording a plate appearance in the Aggies' first two games of the week, Dethlefson hit .636 over her next three appearances, collecting seven hits in 11 at-bats.
• Her best showing was a three-hit game in the first of two against Santa Clara. She had a double, a homer, scored twice and notched three RBI. She also stole two bases in an all-around effort.
• Dethlefson's final game of the week was another gem against the Broncos, going 2-for-4 with a pair of doubles and a run scored.
