Pullin Earns Final Men's Hoops Player Of The Week Award In 2020-21

• UC Riverside sophomore Zyon Pullin earned the final Big West Men’s Basketball Player of the Week honor for the 2020-21 season.

• Pullin received the honor for the second time this season after being recognized back on Dec. 7.

• The 6-4 point guard excelled in a sweep of CSUN on the road. He averaged 14.0 points, 6.0 assists and 2.5 rebounds as the Highlanders squeezed out a pair of close wins.

• Pullin posted 17 points, seven boards and two assists in a 72-68 victory on Friday. He made 6-of-12 floor shots, including 2-of-4 from distance, and also made all three free throw attempts.

• In 37 minutes of floor time, Pullin helped the Highlanders to a narrow 66-65 win on Saturday. He finished with 11 points, three rebounds, five assists and a steal.

• Pullin’s effort helped UCR secure the No. 3 seed in the Big West Tournament, the highest seed in the program’s 20-year Division I history.

• In addition, the Highlanders set a single-season D-I mark for winning percentage which is currently .650 (13-7).

• Pullin has scored in double digits in six straight games entering the postseason.
