2021 Air Force Reserve Big West Women’s Basketball Championships, presented by The Hawaiian Islands Bracket
BIG WEST WOMEN'S BASKETBALL WEEKLY RELEASE - TOURNAMENT EDITION
A season unike any other shifts its focus to Las Vegas as the seedings and pairings are set for the 2021 Air Force Reserve Big West Women’s Basketball Championships, presented by The Hawaiian Islands.
The 38th edition of the championship will be held at at the Michelob ULTRA Arena in Mandalay Bay, marking the first time since 1995 that the event is in Las Vegas and the first time since 2000 that it has not be held in the state of California. All nine teams are slated to compete in the event.
Tuesday, March 9 marks the the start as No. 9 Cal State Fullerton faces off against No. 8 UC Riverside at 12:00 p.m. PT in the lone first round matchup. The 8/9 winner feeds into the main bracket for the quarterfinal round which begins on Wednesday, March 10.

After an off day, the semifinals are slated for Friday, Mar. 12 at 12:00 and 3:00 p.m. PT while the championship game tips off at 5:00 p.m. PT on Saturday, Mar. 13.
ESPN3 will carry the entirety of the championship from first round to championship.
UC Davis is the defending champion, although with a twist. The Aggies won the title in 2019, then saw the 2020 championship cancelled after the quarterfinal round due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
