• Cal State Fullerton's Daisy Munoz powered the Titans to a conference-opening sweep against UC Davis, earning Big West Field Player of the Week honors.
• Munoz started the series with a 3-for-3 effort in game one, hitting a homer, a double and collecting five RBI.
• Game two saw Munoz go 2-for-3 but add a pair of doubles and a RBI to her to total.
• For the series, Munoz hit .714, recorded a slugging percentage of 1.571 and collected five hits in all.

• Cal Poly's Shelby Jeffries led the Mustangs to two wins over CSUN in the conference opener last weekend, resulting in Big West Pitcher of the Week honors.
• After not appearing in game one, Jeffries went the distance in the circle in game two. She allowed just four hits, one runs (earned), walked three and struck out five.
• She then pitched the final 4.2 innings in relief to lead the Mustangs to a series clinching win in game three. She allowed five hits, two runs (one earned) and walked three for the victory.
• She also helped herself at the plate, batting .333 with two doubles and two RBI in the series.

• Cal State Fullerton's Hannah Becerra returns to the honors circle for the fourth time this season, this time earning Freshman of the Week honors for the third time.
• Becerra hit .625 for the week, collecting multiple hits in two of CSF's three games against UC Davis.
• Her best game was a 2-for-3 showing in the opener, adding a RBI, scoring twice and stealing a base.
• She also was perfect in the field, cleanly handling her five total chances over the three-game series.
